Pilgrim's Chef - Beau Batchelor

Chef William "Beau" Batchelor

Research & Development Manager, Pilgrim's

Beau Batchelor has managed the research & development efforts for Pilgrim's foodservice division and national corporate accounts since 2010. In this role, Beau monitors the pulse of the evolving taste preferences of the chicken-loving public.

Prior to coming to Pilgrim's as our full-time R&D manager, Beau owned a culinary consulting company that provided product direction and development for a number of national restaurant chains.

After graduating from culinary school at Johnson & Wales University in Denver, Beau served as Executive Chef at JJ Vigoreaux's French Bistro. For variety, he then branched out into New American cuisine as the Chef de Tournand at Matthew Medure's restaurant.

Leveraging his Master's degree in food science/technology from the University of Georgia, he then moved into the corporate world, serving as Corporate Chef/R&D Manager at FPL Food, LLC, where he headed product development targeted at major retailers and distributors.

At Pilgrim's, Beau provides a chef's perspective to product development using an ingredient he finds especially versatile, nutritious, and delicious - Pilgrim's chicken!

As you can see from the variety of recipes Beau shares with us, you can create the most amazing recipes with Pilgrim's chicken.
